I need 2007-2008, then I will need a 1989 (ouch) 1988, 1987, and 1981. That will get me all the way back to to 1979.

Then I will keep on going, hopefully I have plenty of time.

Just bought a 2002 Half sovereign.

The order I received the other day had 20 2014 Britannia's with the Horse privy just checked them all and they are all in very good condition.

I do like the 2015 Kookaburras but as ever any of the Perth mint silver is great.

Today I finally got my STG order, we were out every time the tried to deliver, so I went to pick them up.

First Edition, pristine condition, very very pleased. It wouldn't surprise me if the seller has managed to find an unopened box from the printers, because the book looks like it has never seen the light of day since it left the printers in 1982. It is impossible to find a better condition book anywhere in the world, and certainly you won't find it cheaper

I admit I am not a fan of the kilo coins but I tell you what that is a stunning coin.

I really do like it.

I ordered my 60 oz at £10.04, but guess what if it hits £9.5 then another 50-80 oz order to go in. 

There are no pawn brokers for ruddy miles around for me. Not fair. 

 

Plenty of cash converters, but I ain't paying £240 for a sovereign....... 

HT do you live in Scotland, that place I bought from in Edinburgh seemed to be reasonable.

They are form one of the local jewellers-pawn shop near me.

I get bits and pieces from about 3-4 of them.

I asked one of them as I was going to get the train to Manchester 3 weeks ago "have you got any sovereigns in" The reply "No we have just sent them all off to be scrapped", my response "What".

I asked on my return Thursday and they have had none in in a 3 week period.

So now I have to wait again.

I am like a vampire I have got my fill of gold and silver for the time being but the hunger won't take long to return. Then we hunt again.

I am also diversifying I bought a bottle of Macallan single malt on my way through Doha the other day.

great, it means he's got less money for the sovereigns and other gold coins.......

Sorry to be the bearer of BAD news HT but that is not the case.  .  .  .  .

I am however leaving the UK again on Sunday for a week so that will put a dampener on things.

Why for me personally I am not really into them, but who knows I may buy in the future. That said I bet the 2015 Kookaburra is a good looking coin.

I have just ordered over £1000 from STG but if drops to 9.50 ish, then thats it for me.

Another great big order to go in, bring it on.

As I stated earlier I was going out to see what else I could get.....
