    I think palladium is interesting, and this is the first time an Eagle has been struck in Palladium.  I picked one up on pre-order to go with my only other palladium coin, a maple leaf.

    Happy about my newest GV Sov...1930 Melbourne "Small Head" with a mintage of about 75,000 (I think...I'm traveling and don't have my book with me). It's identified as Scarce in the new Sov guide.

    So after people in all time zones had a chance to mull over this I'm resolving the mystery. I didn't manage to get a box with two quintuple sovereigns but I managed to get two quintuple sovereigns in a box. It's the Royal Mint "The Queen's Golden and Diamond Jubilees UZ £5 Coin Set". 34/60 so the box is rarer than the coins... and the original owner must have graded his coins with no further use for it.
