Well after lurking in the shadows for a few weeks and doing alot of reading and research here on the forum and internet. Today i made my first purchase  a gold sovereign and a south africa 2 rand not sure if two coins make me a stacker but its a start. Hi madhatter, nice coin i like early milled silver i wish i stated collecting them years ago they will only shoot up in value as so many collectable coins are going into the melting pot . shame its not the 1893 Jubilee Head a scarce coin, i have been tempted to buy some of these scrap pre 47 lots to see if there anything collectable in them.
