Today my 1987 silver Libertad finally arrived. It has a few knocks and some tarnishing, ah well. Then I noticed the wording around the edge of the coin that I never realised was there when it was advertised. Makes it a little more interesting.

2016 Commemorative Pandas.  I do collect the silver ones when I can get them at a reasonable price but they always seem to be crazy expensive for what they are.  Decided to splash out a little on this set as it commemorates 120 years of the Shenyang Mint.

It's a trading standards matter and they will contact the police. And raid him if reported.

Safely arrived via a friend bringing them from the US - the two Indian Head gold half Eagles that I got a few weeks ago. These two complete my year run 1908-1916, and the 1916 S in particular was the toughest to get (only 244,000 minted).  Very happy / relieved to see that they are in such good nick, especially the1916S which you rarely find unslabbed nowadays. They go for $800-$2000 depending on the grade, so I think I did OK (paid $680).  These will be popped into caps along with their brothers, and then I will take a good look at them all to see if need to upgrade any of the years. Will put up some pics of the whole series when I next access my coins from storage. A good start to the weekend!?
 

This arrived today. Really nice. 2016 silver proof Britannia and reverse frosted proof presentation set. First of its kind and impressive in hand. The outer box is jet black and sleek. There is no garish labelling on the lid....very nice touch. Inner box looks sumptuous. According to Apmex, there are only 7 sets left.

500 presentation sets.
500 reverse proof coins (only to be had in these sets).
 

I'm finally up to date with my Lunar 2 serie 1 ounce. Now i can focus on the Lunar 1 serie.

Don't know why i keep collecting them, i like the series but some of my coins already starting to have milk spots. 
It doesn't seem a good investment.

Also the coin is cheap, not too much over spot.

Two pick-ups this weekend - one was showcased by Morezone and Numistacker on Youtube, the other to add to my 1/4 oz collection I just recently started.
