Just received my 1 oz Gold Queen's Beast Griffin?




Just waiting for the 2 oz Silver Griffin now

1/4 oz Queens Beast Griffin in perfect condition

few 1/4 Griffins, have the 1oz on order from elsewhere.
Think this series is great, lovely coin and to the eye looks flawless, i think condition is going to overall be better than the lion 1/4s, though there is a strange amount of "pimples" ? around the edge that i can only see with these macro shots

Surprised to receive a text from DHL saying that my RMB parcel was going to be delivered today.  The text yesterday said Monday.  They're probably working a 6 day week to keep on top of things.
Came in the usual RM capsule.  Seems in good nick.  Few specs of dirt which I've now removed and rehoused in an air-tite so that it can go in an album with the rest.

Received today from Atkinson's. Must say i can see no marks whatsoever, very impressed. (not a scratch before the D on queens side,My camera).

Just another 2016 full sovereign from Harrods. It's nice being able to sit down and scrutinise with a magnifying glass before buying. Did some nice Christmas shopping too.
Doubt i'll have any more cash for metals this month!

1/10 IOM angel 2016, 90th Birthday privy - limited to 2016. Don't like a lot of the london mint office stuff due to their prices, but this was minted by pobjoy and got it for a crazy good price!

This is the free book which came with the 3 coin Premium Sov set from the Royal Mint.  Probably came with other sets as well.  A4 hardback with 112 pages.

A few bits I received this weekend.

My 3-coin 2017 sov set came today from @arshimo2012 many thanks. I don't think the coins are totally perfect, they seem to put more effort into the box, which is very nice . The box manufacturer/team should send some of their guys to package the coins.
Also a few 1/10 2017 elephants, 1995 proof IOM angel 1/20
Then a half sov 1843 weight, I had few glasses of wine and not sure really why i bought it, it's just interesting

Pair of copper Nanjing panda medals back from grading thank you to @Numistacker for the help appreciated. Chuffed with the 70 results. 
Also a unique 4.oz silver bar from @GoldBenj very nice piece love the finish thanks, plus an Australian 2016 wedge tail high relief Proof.


 

 

These arrived today from gs.be.
Very expensive for what they are but you don't see them very often so had to get them for my collection.
Really like the Matt finish and a lot more detail than I was expecting. ?

A 2017 silver Britannia from Yorkshire bullion on eBay. Got a 1oz Asahi silver bar from them the other day as well.

1887 Jub head half sovereign, nicest condition half sov i have right now
It looks like a I.E.B variety to me, considerably more rare? I'd like some opinions here as i don't yet have Marsh's half sov book, and google returns a little info but more on the Sydney variety of which there are only 3 examples of this

Picked up this 1/4 sovereign, does anyone know where its from?  I thought a tristan da cunha as this portrait of the queen looks like theirs but i can't find a reference to it
edit: Just noticed the TDC on the obverse . Would still be interested if someone could find a mintage figure for me!
Looks much nicer in hand than photos, its pretty small and i rushed the photos just now

A couple of cheap and cheerful old silver coins, nothing expensive just love old stuff.
I would go for a higher grade but the prices get into sovereign territory and I think I would go for gold over silver most times. 
If I'm wrong please tell me ?

1912 Half Sovereign from HGM. 

Today I received two 2017 Premium Gold Proof Sovereign sets. I'm hoping to flip one quickly to bring down my net cost for my 'keeper'. 
 
It came via Special Delivery, in a padded box!
