Speaking to the guy I bought form, his came from the Mint in a set of Best Value 1 OZ coins. 

Likewise! Missed out on the 1/10th but have all of the others so hopefully they stay as one offs 😏

Seems likely. I just hope the 2022 coins don't become readily available in abundance  

Just going back a little, Spinks list the tenth gold standard.

Remember the trail piece auction but don't recall them being on sale anywhere. Numista lists them all as 100?
this one was listed for sale on fleabay so did a deal with the seller, checked it over and collected it

Haven't seen many of any of the denominations for 2023 come up for sale as think they made the full set 1/10th to 1 Oz

Yes, they were likely all minted as there were 1/10oz, 1/4oz, 1/2oz and 1oz 2023-dated ones in the trial piece auction.
I don't think any of the bullion coins were sold directly by RM to the public. Where did you get yours from?
