They've benefited from all the new issues due to the jubilee and coronation. Those are one offs and they can't expect to sell as much in normal years. So if they are to make future profits they need a different business plan.

I thought they had talked about a birthday SOTD but no mention of it so far by the RM. They had difficulty in selling this year's large number of proofs. They must surely cut back for a 'non-special year'.... and reduce the price?
