Late 18th / early 19th century in my view, the lion mark is the lion passant which denotes its sterling silver, the other side profile mark is the monarch mark, looks like George III from the photo, i would have a guess at it being made in London, it is indeed a folding pocket knife with a mother of pearl case, most likely for fruit, however these can sometime be found in sets sometimes with a folding fork and spoon also. if you google pocket fruit knife you may find some more similar im guessing.
hope this helps

There is only liquidity in certain coins sovereigns in short
Numismatics are not getting the love they deserve as their being benchmarked against spot coins
I had someone message me asking why my 5 roubles was not spot? Because it's not a basic sovereign was the answer
yes indeed, been in the antiques business / collectables for nearly 3 decades, heard this many times about prices on silver items e.g. cups teapots etc, sometimes spot price has absolutely nothing to do with a price of an item or coin, sometimes collectability and rarity is a key so many miss and bemoan the price.

I had a look at the UK debt clock, it is frightening to see it ticking up so quickly every second!

really not sure on this one, was it more an import tax rather than normal VAT?
might be hard to get it of UK HMRC as it was Croatia would it be them you claim back from, are you VAT registered in either country?

Really pleased to see your work.
I was thinking earlier today whether anyone made any items related to Nikola Tesla. He is an iconic figure in some areas!!
Look forward to seeing more. 🌞
Thank you for the kind words, i shall speak with my fellow Silver Punk & 3d print partner and see if he is able to find a Tesla design, that is a great idea!

Cool I'll keep an eye out for the video and sup to your channel. I'm coming at this from the digital side my self. looking to find a cost effective way of getting some designs poured, but they might be to the larger end of the pour spectrum.
here is a video showing the last few prints he did

Glad to see your still swimming in the deep end and pushing the boat out further with your casting ventures! I quite like your Einsteins and skull rounds. 🙌
Who do you get to produce your 3D prints? I guess your using stock CAD online for the data?
Hi Monkey!
to be honest my friend handles that side of things, im just the pourer drone, i know he does get stock 3d designs from a couple of sites, and the ones he creates himself i think are done in blender and something else to do the mesh before printing? im not to up on that sort of thing, i will ask him though to talk me through it when i see him next! I think he is in the process of doing a video for your channel on it.

Hi All!
Hope you are all keeping well and stacking high!
I haven’t posted in a while as Ive been pretty busy at the furnace and starting up new ventures, I have collaborated with a friend to do more silver pouring under the guise of “Silver Punk” we have also started a YouTube channel documenting our progress and learning the craft.
We have been experimenting more with the Petra bond sand casting and 3d printing, its been tremendous fun, thought I’d post a few bits to show you guys how we have been getting on, some successes and some failures but all part of the learning curve!
Our YouTube videos show me doing the pours, our user name for that is: @SilverPunkPour
here is a few of the bits we have being playing with recently!
