Absolutely and the so called "far right" or "right-wing" is only right of an extreme left. The overton window has shifted so for to the left that the far-right is actually more a centre or right of centre stance. 

Indeed it is, and it comes in several versions - Proof .925 Silver, with a gold plated outer ring, and B.U. and Proofs of the traditional nickel-brass/ cupro nickel versions.
However, I was surprised when it first appeared in the 1997 Gold Sovereign set, because it is NOT a double sovereign, IMO, simply a  bi-metal gold £2 coin!  
In 1986 the RM also substituted the normal ‘double sovereign’  with a commemorative £2 gold coin!
Perhaps I’m just being pedantic. Ironically, the 1st Sovereign I ever bought was the 1997 Proof full sovereign!
Anyway, 1997 was the first time the RM admitted it knew the difference between RED and YELLOW gold….😁

Nearly half-way through the year and I have actually managed to tick off half of this list. I got a graded platinum 20p with a mintage of only 10 (!) and a 5oz silver george and the dragon coin. It didn't really seem possible to wait until the end of the year for those ones.

I decided not to join in, as I have no will power and I would have spent the money by June. Glad to see everyone sticking with the plan . I admire your stanima. Well done.

There must be loads of coins like this, that people never notice because they live in their capsules forevermore. 
I once noticed this sort of thing because it was so extreme that the capsule couldn't be closed properly! Proper NGC MINT ERROR-worthy stuff which makes me dribble 🤤

One thing I did notice looking at these photos again, is that both coins have wire rims!  More easily visible as the reeding casts a shadow on the face, which wouldn't happen if it was flush with the rim.

To my mind, this must be a fault across all the 1/4oz "Six Decades of 007" coins, since it is present to some extent on 4 out of 5 coins I own.  If I hadn't taken the coin out of the capsule to photograph it, I would not have noticed until I got it back from grading.

You are spot on - the 2012 bullion sovereign is very difficult to photo, because of its shiny surface. Looks like someone has crossed your palm with silver! There’s much better definition with the proof version though. Try placing the coin on a ‘grey’ photographers card to help get better colour temperature, or use the ‘saturation’ or ‘warmth’ button in post edit. This was the best I could do with a full sovereign ….There are good tips in the photographic section of TSF 🙂

Just a couple of notes. I carefully took them out the capsules to check weights etc but I can't see that I left any marks.  And two of the capsules (1/2 and 1/4 ounce) are a bit chipped - see the photos. (I can probably replace them as I have a 2007 4-coin set which has developed copper spotting and I can recycle the capsules as these will go in the bullion bag - if needed)
