  5. @andrewse I think you might have a 78 if you are interested in selling. I myself have a 76 available will see if it looks better then the above photo
  6. Is that voucher burning a hole in your pocket? If there is no timeline to use it, I would wait it out even if eventually you use it against another sovereign.
  7. I have found most southern Europeans would buy their gold in their home countries either before they came over or when they went back to visit family. Without having hallmarks and testing you never know.
  8. If you are in Birmingham then Lois are the best I have found in that area.
  9. If your mate is Portuguese and the other rings came from there, you might find that they are 18 or 19ct gold. At the moment I am not in London. If I was you could have posted and the place I go to has an xrf gold tester and would quickly find out their value. You can not value gold if you know not what carat it is. The garnet ring is worth scrap weight, the diamonds are not worth talking about as they are so small. Like it has been said, on this forum no one wants to pay more then scrap weight regardless if it is usable or not. Today my London dealer is paying £36.55 for 18ct and and half again for 9ct per gram.
  10. Why is there so many listing for the same items and the other listing say forbidden to view
  11. This is not advice to buy these bonds but these are the ones have investments in STAB and RSAB both paying 7 3/8% and can both be bought at just over 100p each, pays out 4 times a year. IPF3 pays 12% , can be bought at about 100p and pays out twice a year. Bit more risky and is a five year bond. All are bought in a ISA stocks and shares. DYOR
  12. This looks like a good deal. Only 2 1/2% above spot. Good thing they go weeks sometimes without updating their site, so if gold goes further up, it becomes a better bargain. https://est1897.co.uk/collections/coins-gold-bars/products/22ct-gold-ladies-gold-bullion-bar-102
  13. It seems that all the Lunar 1oz are limited to 8888 as 8 is regarded as a lucky number in China. These coins are in better condition then some newer 1oz I have seen. Surprised they have not sold. Good price
  14. Members with very little feedback should not have to be asking for feedback. Everyone knows that a new members needs all the feedback they can get. You bought on 16th and 9 nine days later is more then enough time to give you feedback. Good that you mentioned it on the listing you bought on.
  15. Those are terrible. You can name and shame. I think storing them in cold places do not help. You should get them replaced as anyone buying off you in the future will want to pay much less then others of the same year etc
  16. You have sell 24 in one day or James will tell you to hold his
  17. I do not think he sold them all in one day. Listing and selling is another thing. I think, but I might be wrong James sold all in 1 day.
  18. Didn't James also have the single one day sale with his 22 sovereigns couple of weeks back?
  19. Yes, forgot about that. only couple of weeks ago.
  20. I wonder what has been the single most expensive sold item on this forum. I remember someone sold a monster box of silver. Did that 250g gold sell on here or was sold to a bullon dealer?
