Unfortunately, even if it's made of silver does not guarantee this coin is genuine,  the 'higher end' counterfeiters uses real silver to make fake coins, Especially the higher value ones such as cc Morgan's.  Send it for grading is one way to be sure.

yes, I think you are right, I had a quick look, in my mind this is similar to buying physical Gold/silver ETF inside ISA/SIPP/GIA, with added option of taking delivery of the actual PM for a fee.
