1989 Double Proof Sovereign. Apologies for the squiffy angle, it's a slabbed coin, and they are terrible to try and photograph. I had to use a warm light bulb for the backing light as well, because anything too cool caused too many reflections off the slab.

This has scam written all over it. I'd start making meticulous notes of everything, and save every communication you have with the seller/ebay/royal mail. Write a strongly worded email to the buyer, making clear your intention to fully chase this up until the bitter end and to the full extent of the law, make it clear you know his home address and that you will make a claim in Small Claims Court for any loss you incur. Contact Citizens Advice, and the local plod. Don't let it go. Can't stand scamming currants.
