I'll try and get a photo, but it's definitely a dent - I've looked at it through one of those eyeglasses like what David Dickinson uses and everything.

I have received a bullion memorial double sovereign from the Royal Mint and it has a slight dent in it.
When I say 'slight', it's too small to photograph and isn't visible when held at certain angles.
But it did come in a capsule, and it is sold by the RM exclusively...
    Should I return it?

I bought a 2023 bullion Double Coronation Sovereign but it's got a scratch and an abrasion.
I assumed the Royal Mint would take extra care as it's only available to buy from their website and nowhere else. It also comes in a capsule, not loose (maybe this is the case with all RM bullion coins).
I'm sending it back - what are the chances they'll replace it?
Also, how accurate is the "total availability" trick on the RM's website? (That is: right-click, select View Source then search for "totalavailable" and it gives you a number.) It seems to be accurate as when you increase the number of items in your basket it can't go beyond that number (but it can if you just type the number in rather than clicking the buttons). It suggests there are 191 2023 bullion Coronation double sovereigns left (in capsule, don't know how many blister packs). Is this possibly true? Very limited if so.

Big Tut, little Tut - there's a sitcom in this.

The tiny black hairs are from the felt-like container Hattons unwisely decided to place it in, and aren't actually inside the capsule...I assume.
On Tut's left (our right) shoulder/arm you can see where the jelly-like enamel has sha-wumped itself to the gold, like water on a glass.

A relative bought me Hatton of London's Tutankhamun 100 year discovery coin. I've got Perth Mint's fantastic silver Tutankhamun coin but wasn't overly impressed with The Royal Mint's version, so I've avoided that one.
Besides all the usual criticism of Hattons and the massive premium (in percentage terms), does anyone have an opinion on the coin itself? (Ignoring the Queen's portrait - which is still better than Canada's Sigourney Weaver portrait or Australia's portrait of the Queen straining her neck to look at something). The black enamel with the hieroglyphs looks great - assuming there's a macro camera sophisticated enough to photograph it, I encourage people to check it out - but does it represent a technological leap forward or a revolutionary coin design development?
