He knows this format doesn't get the best results possible, but he started them at prices he'd be happy to get and probably bought them all much lower. I don't think he would be disappointed even if they only hit the starting bid!

Not at all.
I know I could have got more just by listing it for a fixed priced or sticking it on eBay. It is not all about making as much as possible, sometimes you give something back. Auctions are those places on this forum.

Well done to all the winners. You all got good deals So the ends bids are
1. 1862 £448 @KRO Very cheap shield. Well done
2. 1964 £440 @CDH Good price for not so common year Gillick
3. 2008 £446 @CDH Excellent price on a graded Proof. Well done on both your wins
4. 2006 £240 @avd98 Very good price on a boxed proof. Well done and you did not overpay. Those are £270 on the online dealers.

Those went cheap. İf I wasn't saving money to give to the CCP, I'd have went for either the 1862 or the Gillick.

You can also print off the label and then take it to the PO, do that all the time when selling junk on eBay, as you say it's cheaper than signed for.

Bought this Azadi yesterday, but I emailed Atkinsons to ask if it was a Khomeini obverse or an Ali calligraphy, as they aren't dispatching until January and they sent me photos over
It's in pretty nice shape, but I really want a Khomeini obverse which was 1991 onwards
