    Hello everyone,
I'm looking to sell 4x 1/10z gold coins and 2oz of silver to put towards a house purchase (also realised that pm's just don't really suit my goals). Any tips or advice on how I should go about this?
For context, I have 2x Brits 1x maple and 1x perth mint tiger. I also have the invoices for each coin from various dealers.

You can offer face to face but probably won't have enough of an audience that lives nearby.
Always use Royal mail special delivery for gold ( only service that insures metals)
    2 x 1/10th brita £175 + post
    1/10th maple £173 plus post
Perth tiger 1/10th £190 plus post
    2oz silver £57 plus post
    Byb and buyer I assume.

Hi as a new member you have two concrete options..
    1) send items to @BackyardBullion and he will sell on your behalf for a small fee.
    2) offer to post items first to established buyers, read their feedback carefully or ask for vouches if still unsure, it really does work and you will be paid as soon as items received/verified.
    Welcome by the way.

Can't imagine it would be take much considering they mint 100,000s, must be a fraction of a percent over spot seeing as they can sell 1oz plus a few percent

Sorry bud, I bought from tavex yesterday in the end. I'll keep you in mind for future reference though, hoping to buy every month or so

Shop around, but premiums on gold coins have been all over the place.  These are a few dealers with better prices on 1/10oz Brits.

There's one near me, and it's a rip off, £425 for a bullion Sov, gold Brits at £1895. Works out at the same price for me to get on the train to somewhere like Hatton Garden Metals and have a day out. When I say day out, I mean x pints in pubs I don't go to too often.

I have a go too close to me, it's just a old school jewelry shop with a side line in coins. I go in every now and then but almost always pay over the odds. The problem is with local coin shops ist that they are always so expensive and difficult to get a deal. I also find this with coin fairs, of they see that you want the item then the price goes up. It's loads cheaper and easier to find what you want on line but I am with you it's nice to go and have a browse amongst others that share the hobby, it's just unfortunate you have to pay for it.

After noticing a shoulder holster on one of the shop owners in an American video, I can understand why we're short of LCS here.

I'll have to have a look at the coin fair, new to all this so would be a good experience 👍🏼

Chards is probably the best 'LCS' in the UK, though it's only 'L' if you live in Blackpool 😁

A lot of the large sellers on line have the option of calling in, however these a few and far between. Local to me I have a couple of shops that include some coins amongst other ‘collectable’ stuff and of course local pawn shops, unfortunately, neither of these two last options are great for any bargaining! There could also be a local auction house? Best deposit your money and then buy on here!
