Premiums on gold

Since when did premiums on 1/10oz coins go up from around 18% to 25%? 

Chards tenth ounce brit is 25% plus £6 shipping, crazy!

With spot being what it is I was expecting to pay a little over £170 not £180+

Shop around, but premiums on gold coins have been all over the place.  These are a few dealers with better prices on 1/10oz Brits.

Keep an eye on the ungraded sales page here at TSF. Always tenths popping up for sale. @Auronum had some for sale the other day. Not sure if they all sold or not

Anyone know much it costs to make a brand new tenth?  (Tooling, labour, energy etc)

Guessing that'll be a flat rate almost regardless of coin size and presumably gone up recently?  The premium on 1oz silvers is also high now, even before adding VAT.

Can't imagine it would be take much considering they mint 100,000s, must be a fraction of a percent over spot seeing as they can sell 1oz plus a few percent

Sorry bud, I bought from tavex yesterday in the end. I'll keep you in mind for future reference though, hoping to buy every month or so
