  1. Good spot as he only put that website up in the last week. Its a chap off one of the Facebook groups who has been making them for a while and selling them with the bars, he put up a post saying he had started the website this week.
  2. I have no attraction to them and don't see the appeal, assume people pay for the rarity/grade. Barely enough gold for a filling 🤷‍♂️
  3. An MS70 2012 1/4 will fetch £350+, seen them go for £380.
  4. It does rather, I have certainly seen the ones in that packaging sell for more. I suspect because they have the best chance of an MS70
  5. These go for silly money slabbed in MS70, they cost a packet even raw. The mintage in Marsh for them is 137 - rated rare. That is actually a reasonable price
  6. Mine has tracked........at £5.69 when it should be about £85 This is quite common, for it to show at a much lower amount than expected, but it usually pays out the correct amount
  7. Just a thought, for the person I know got charged and extra £220 on a 10 bar (£5620) purchase I know some credit cards charge you as a cash transaction for buying from the Royal Mint, an this works out to 3.9% which is about right for a cash charge. I have messaged the person to see if they can tell but thought I would mention it here
  8. I am starting to think it may be unrelated, yet to find anyone else who has had additional charges I was also charged on checkout, order is still pending an no additional charges (yet) The one person I can confirm orders 10 and had another charge of £220 from RM this morning
  9. Check out the gold monitoring thread, I use cashback sites ALL the time, make hundreds a year in cashback mostly through doing the families insurance - I have dropped you a pm
  10. topcashback had the deal Friday, Quidco have it today
  11. Yea its a no lose situation really whatever happens If they honour all of the deals, everyone is good If they dont or only honour some we will be refunded If they charge us 'extra' we can all return given they are classed as gifts and they can have the fun of processing them all 🤣 To be honest I only ordered a handful and I don't care either way, while spot price gold is lively I am enjoying the eBay cashback hack far more
  12. It would have got onto the groups anyway James, you were not the only person to stick it up on the groups I think a lot of the guys on there knew anyway as it was going around by DM late Friday and early Saturday before you posted up, I had a few messages about it There was one guy who ordered £50k worth according to a post on one of the groups this morning, the whales came out to play
  13. Not my cup of tea I'm afraid, not a stacker of panda's
  14. I know David well, I have bought a lot of coins from him in the past and he is one of my go-to guys, very fair on price and great service Incredibly knowledgeable especially when it comes to anything unusual like mint error coins and varieties. I cannot recommend him strongly enough and will vouch for him 100%
  15. No it can take up to 24hours to track, mine worked on the same deal from topcashback on Friday though
  16. My eBay 20% cashback buy from Friday arrived today. Once the cashback pays out will have cost me £301 Again thanks to @Brit2023 and @dvl for highlighting the hacks
  17. Nor me, though my order is still pending Hope they process in the order they were placed, we should be near the front then
  18. As a counter to this though, some people who ordered Friday have received their bars today. Unfortunately some people from the forum posted the hack up in the Facebook groups and some whales orders 10's of thousands worth of the bars so suspect this morning they have realised straight away what happened. Fingers crossed I guess, though I will be returning if I get charged the usual price, but they are notoriously slow on issuing refunds sometimes
  19. Yes they are gift items, so 30 days to return
  20. Looks like the the one I know the numbers for has been charged an extra £22 per bar - a thoroughly curious amount They ordered 2 then 8, have been charged £44 and £176
  21. I did not think so no, but if they do as they are 'gift' products they can be returned within 30 days and they will be processing a LOT of returns if they do not honour the price. And losing a lot of customers too The charges I am being told make no sense at the moment. One chap said he ordered 2 then 8 and has had a charge for £220. Does not add up however I try and do it
