Today, I finally bought a case for my Series 2 lunar 1oz coins.

Been wanting one for a while, and a practically brand new one got listed on eBay for £21 delivered.

Had to have it.

I'd imagine they will be mate, he's not actively selling them unless somebody asks specifically.

Today I bought the last 5 Sydney Olympic proofs to complete my set of 16.

Well chuffed.

Ended up paying £365 all in for the coins & box, with a coin average of £21.43 each and £22.80 for the box.

Consistent buying is the best method in my opinion.

Despite giving up on old .500 silver coins the other day I ended up winning some I had on my ebay watch list. 50x shillings and florins, a total of just over 200 grams or 6.5oz of silver content delivered for right on spot. Not a bad result.

It's just people trying to be disingenuous with their £/oz cost [emoji1]

Ooh I bought an expensive 1/2oz coin, I'm not putting that in my cost average.

Today I bought another 1/20oz gold proof, unfortunately nothing interesting but a decent price.

1998 Guernsey proof £5.

I Think It may have been dipped at some point in its life, At one point this was apparently standard practice in the collector world. coins of these age should have tarnish so any clean one has probably been dipped. , But I think in this case its a good buy , It looks slightly pitted but a perfect one is £150/200, also might be a matte proof..Really need to learn how to tell if it is or isn't a proof lol.

Took me a while - last coin arrived today from Mexico, completing my 2014 Libertad silver 7 coin proof set; others I got from US sellers.
There goes my per oz average (as these are not cheap!) - but these proofs are a thing of beauty, IMHO. Back to gold and silver bullion rest of the year, until Banco de Mexico roll out the 2015 Libertad proofs!!

They are tiny, but when silver hits £200/oz they will be the only coins people can afford [emoji1]

Only one more to complete the date run, although it only started in 2012 [emoji1]

Today i bought a 2015 Panda from Darlington coins from E-Bay, i could of got it cheaper at Atkinsons but i used my Nectar points to get it. Many thanks to the silver forum for giving me this tip another ounce in the stack on the cheap, i am well pleased.
I am up to 75 oz of .999 now and am on track for £20 an ounce, i have paid £1577.39 for my 75 oz so if i buy 25 in a bulk order one day i can make the £20 an oz,this is because i bought at £37.10 an oz when the silver was going to the moon and i got caught in the hype,i know better now.
