  1. Just ordered my bullion Sov... shipping next week in theory 🙂
  2. Fake stamps to send fake coins, nice. The buyer needs to pay in fake money and the world will be fixed
  3. My shiny is scattered around a couple of properties and their grounds. I do not look flash, I do not wear flash clothes, drive flash cars or stand out in any way. I blend into the background so shiny pieces of gold are unlikely to be high on the list of things that could be robbed off of me. I always have shiny delivered to my office, so if any rogue intercepts package and content they can't link shiny to the locations it's at. Unless they stalk me, but that's unlikely to work due to my past training and background. Keep shiny safe good folks.
  4. Make a 1kg proof, plenty of room for lettering! 😄
  5. Did they put it on such an oversized card so that can find it if you put it down? 😄Without zooming in the picture I can literally see a gold coloured round bit in the middle. My eyesight is bad, this is maybe one reason for liking silver 1kg monster sized coins - I can see and enjoy the detail.
  6. Nah, it is way more irritating. It constantly goes beep beep this coin is reversing. You have to pay a squillion pounds for a special noise cancelling capsule otherwise you go even more insane than you were to start with.
  7. So is everybody on here now bust so that I can get some bargains in the trade section? 🤣
  8. In total seriousness if people getting close to it are suffering headaches then it is very seriously faulty - get it checked out, they use mobile phone technology and the tin foil hat brigade have always been wary. Some years ago I had a cheap nasty HTC smartphone and used to get headaches if gassing on it for long periods of time - which as my job involved gassing on blower a lot was not good. Replaced with Samsung, problem gone. I do not believe in coincidence.
  9. I have to admit that I am at this time enviously eyeing a lovely collection of bullion Sovs which are up for 25% premium over spot. Itchy trigger finger vs Yorkshire 'ow much! Not sure which way it'll go...
  10. Made perfect sense. I suscribe to the fact that I can ditch bullion to a dealer or pawnbroker at spot (give ir take) quickly and easily. If you need to shift a proof then you need somebody who is prepared to pay premium. If you're in a hurry, then you could end up shafted. This article written by BBP agrees with me. https://www.bullionbypost.co.uk/index/gold/gold-sovereigns-good-investment/ I'm sure many won't! A bullion coin can be nice and shiny and pretty and unblemished. So long as it's not a 1oz piece of silver from KnuckleDraggerCentral. Never been dissatisfied with a new Sov or oz of gold, it's the silver monkeys in my experience that don't give a toot.
  11. Don't you love stupid algorithms that block out words. Richard Van Dyke don't sound reet. And who put the **** in Scunthorpe?
  12. As a Yorkshireman 100 pound, 'ow much! I've got silver hidden up in t'chimney! S'long as **** Van Dyke don't go messin' wit t'brush should be reet.
  13. He needs to rethink where to keep his colostomy bag(s)!!!
  14. 2023 squared, maximise profit RM style. Later in the year.... 31/12/23 23:59. And ot turns into a pumpkin at midnight!
  15. Funniest thing I read in ages! George obviously would be identifying as Georgina, and the dragon would be into leather, whips, BDSM and sporting a Jedward haircut and enormous pair of fake boobs. Probably.
  16. It's dropping to 3 grand next year if I remember correctly. Sell the bars privately on here or on ebay if you want rid. Unless HMRC has sneakily inserted a probe up your nose/ ear/ ass they will never know. Nobody is confiscating anything, don't read paranoid BS conspiracy interweb nonsense. Otherwise you'll start believing Winnie the Pooh runs China, Donald Trump is the reincarnation of Buzz Lightyear and that Joe Biden can remember his own name.
  17. Me for one. I've just dumped some shares and will be dribbling the proceeds into bullion sovs over the next few months. None of this mega money limited edition malarkey! At hopefully sensible premiums.... 🙄
  18. I imagine Charlies does too with that big heavy crown!
  19. Unless my brain did one of it's things I specifically didn't pick up any mention of a bullion Sovereign. So either I missed the mention or their wasn't one... and if that's the case did RM Marketing Man forget to mention it in his spiel or might their simply not be one? Answers on a postcard please...
  20. Colour wise I prefer older to newer Sovs. But I prefer 999 to Sovs. Colour doesn't stop me buying, but if a nice shiny older Sov was up for the same price as a rosy red one then I'd likely go old.
  21. I think that is a good plan 😀 Maybe in a month or two... I've gone a bit mental on silver buying this last fortnight. Pesky forum members luring me like Sirens with their £25 an ounce shiny shiny crack cocaine. 🤪
  22. Supply and demand. US Citizens taking money out of the banking system and stocks for something "safer" will account for a decent proportion. US$'s goose will be cooked, maybe as early as this decade. China and the Saudis have snuggled up to trade oil/ Yuan. Yuan and gold are exchangeable very easy in Shanghai. I see the Arab nations very happily selling oil for gold. China's rise to be THE economic force is coming, and possibly in my lifetime. Definitely within the next quarter century.
  23. None of my vintage sadly 😪 I did think of a Krug but the premium a certain Blackpool based dealer wants on the one they have is on the BBP scale!
  24. This getting minted sounds a trifle painful! 🤕
