  1. Yeah, but order was not with the royal mint though.
  2. So glad this is sorted now, from feeling gutted and disappointed to now feeling wonderful, receiving the replacement and looking at the design and beauty of this coin just bring me happiness when I look at it now. Really is a work of art.
  3. Car, coming from Coventry.
  4. Thanks for the suggestions. I have been checking out antique stores too. Really hard to find a good store and I assume the best ones are in London, Birmingham and up north.
  5. Funny enough I was thinking the same thing this morning, I thought I'll check on some of mine today and it looks like the 1oz ones starting to milk already! Will probably check again in a few days. Although maybe milking I still feel the urge of keeping the coins as 1st in the series and free box, possibly very naive I feel im being but the coin looks good still.
  6. Good Morning all, Any good coin shops or dealers in the Milton keynes area? Will be visiting the shopping centre there soon for xmas shopping. Thanks
  7. Thanks for checking, unfortunately it wasn't purchased from the royal mint but a rather famous bullion dealer. So I don't think the letter of compliant is warranted. Do bullion dealers check over the coin before sending out? Good news is that they can exchange 🙂.
  8. Hi All, Is this a dent and scratch on the coin near the top? Really gutted as it looks like it is. 😭😭😭 Any suggestions please.
  9. Thanks for this, is single form meaning 1 coin, multiple forms you can send multiple coins for the one of fee? So making it more worth it. Let me know how it goes Thanks
  10. I will check them out, how much is estimate for this 2oz proof to get graded i should be looking at so I don't over pay? Also i read that the label matters? All I know currently is that grading of 70 is the best and they put it in a slab but thats all i know. Thanks
  11. No sir, I appreciate any advice as its my decision to action it or not, I will do some research to see what to do. Many thanks
  12. ah now thats an idea. However never graded anything before so might be a good first test. So if sent off for grading will they clean the coin etc before they grade and put it into slab? Also I didn't think the dust would bother me until more got into the capsule. lol I did think of hairdryer but saw a article thats not a good idea because of the chemical in the dryer from the plastic. Thanks
  13. Thanks, I wouldn't be comfortable with doing that at the moment. However I will look on youtube to see if someone has tried that before. Do you think this passes the royal mint quality control? As they said they are able to provide a replacement. Thanks
  14. Hi All, So i have been deciding to return my one for replacement for a week or 2, but reading the comments here im wondering if its worth it at all? Attached pictures are the coin im thinking of returning because it appears there is alot of dust on the coin (No visible dents or scrtches I can see and also the dust particles looks worse in the photos than it is by the naked eye, can only prob see about 4 bits with my naked yey), this was most probably because the capsule doesn't fit the coin I don't believe, the capsule was loose and hard to twist to open when I received it. I have tried to live with it but its just annoying me and just wondering should i return for replacement? What would you do? Thanks in advance for any feedback at all.
  15. Thanks for letting me know. Will keep that in mind. Thanks
  16. Yeah, thats why its surprising in the UK that we cannot do this. I just assumed it was possible but seems like it isn't without some fee or hassle.
  17. Thanks for the responses. It seems madness in this day and age we cant get a parcel sent to a drop of point for collection. Privacy and convenience. Could kill two birds with one stone if this was available without a heavy fee . Thanks
  18. Hi, Hope you all having a good weekend. Can you request parcels to be delivered to a post office for collection? Or even to a amazon drop off points? Or another location? For a small fee or for free(ideally at no extra cost)? PO boxes have a yearly fee I think. Thanks
  19. Hi, So UK has agreed a trade deal with new zealand. Possible deals coming with other countries too. Says up to 5% off tariff for metal goods. Assuming that does involve bullion? Nothing to write home about but do you think this is paving a way to future better deals with say the US? Especially when everyone looking to go green? Also is it paving a way for a large bullion dealer to set up shop there and import/export. Any thoughts?
  20. Snowman minty piggy bank for £150 without security lock, now thats taking the ****, RM milking it for sure, at least have a lock on it, lol.
  21. Coin for Remembrance day i believe, or was that realeased already?
