  1. Good idea and very helpful. Your coin seems to be in better shape. I could only spot one minor issue on the right side of the trident she is holding. I could be wrong though as it just might be the photo. thank you
  2. Which facebook groups ? Might want to check these offers 😉
  3. thank you. Yes i had conservation on this. I was thinking to do that but not sure what my chances are. The coin clearly has some small spots where the die is missing so i am ot sure if a pf70 is even possible. Having said that i have a coin which was graded pf70 with a huge scratch 😂🤦🏻‍♂️ My firend who has the same britannia 2014 set, his 1 oz coin has the same spots where the die is missing on his coin too.
  4. Thank you. Yes it is a bit dissapointing, i really love this coin, never had the intention to sell it but would love the perfect grade even more. I might swap it for a pf70 plus cash in the future, although the prices have gone to the moon and these coins are so rate that i have no idea what a pf69 or pf70 cost today.
  5. Yes i noticed that in another less important coin for me, when the grader gave a 69 grade and i couldnt find a single fault on the coin even after i inspected it thouroughly under 10x.. i will be sending back that coin again for sure
  6. Thanks for your comment. I ll try post a photo 5x although you can see some minor die issues if you zoom in the photo of NGC if you use the serial number of the coin grade
  7. So i decided to grade my favourite set, as i recently started grading all my coins as i love to have them in slabs. My coins came back today and i am dissapointed with the result of the 1oz (my favourite coin of them all). The coin has no scratch or defect, only a few places where the coin die is missing. Can someone with experience check and tell me if it is a fair grade or if i can do something about to to get it regraded and if there is a fair chance to get the pf70? Thanks for your help.
  8. People who are grading their sovereigns, will you go for a first release label or not?
  9. What would people rather do if they had the option to: buy the 5 coin set and hope to get a clean “perfect” set? Or buy as many full and half sovereigns as they can, to grade and in the future trade for a pf70 £5 and double sovereigns to complete the set?
  10. Gutted for you mate. This is going to be the most sought after sovereign design in the next decade in my opinion. i am not sure if the mint will help you, but consider everything before you send it back. i hope that they will replace it with a new set for you:
  11. Oh you should have taken the full set!! I wish i could ve gotten that. it looks like a good website. I might order something in future from them. Thank you
  12. Nice. Do they always sell new releases? Did they have the three graces ?
  13. I was lucky enough to buy a 3-coin set and a full and a half sovereign today. Very happy with my purchases. Although i bought everything for my collection, i have a feeling that the half and quarter sovereign will do very well if someone considers the very low mintages! Full sovereign will also do well. I love the design, when i saw the video of the designer holding the actual coin i thought the design was very nice, much better on coin than on paper/pc screen.
  14. Yes, i order all the time straight from the mint
  15. I got the Who 1oz gold pf70 @ £1900 and the 2019 gold 50 pence 50 years @ £775. I really like the design in both coins and wanted to buy them, so i got them at a great price. cant understand why the 2019 gold 50 pence i bought has not been a succees.. i really love the design and as a circulation coin design i thought it would make it more desirable ..
  16. I bought a couple of modern gold coins at pf70 way below release price. So i was extremely happy! there were many modern coins being sold at cost or below cost..
  17. Who decided this? 🤦🏻‍♂️😂
  18. So today was the ghost/sneaky release of Trial of the Pyx. I logged in late but managed to buy a silver 50years of 50p that i was planning to buy at some point. Are these coins more collectible and of higher value than the normal coins? Should i get the coin graded or leave it in the blister? (Assuming that the order will not be cancelled) Are the mintages always so low? 7-10 pcs?
  19. I wouldnt buy bullion above much over than spot price. If you want to collect the QB, better get the proof versions as it really makes the design stand out.
  20. I think the bars will do very well. I love how a 1oz gold bar looks and feel. The design is stunning and i think that when the three graces bars come out people will realise that this would be an amazing series to collect and will start collecting. starting a new trend with the best subject “ The great engravers” was a very smart move from RM. The collectible Gold bars will soon become a trend and then people will be paying higher premium for these bars. The RM should have minted these bars in proof quality and ofcourse fix their quality issues as most of these bars have knocks and dents as usual 🤦🏻‍♂️ other than that, great series and investment that will do extremely well in the long run.
  21. In my experience, the majority of milkspots develop in the first couple of months in a coin. I certainly prefer a pf70 without milkspots but i would not mind a small barely visible spot in the edge of a coin that was developed after grading. The problem arises if someone grades within the first couple of weeks of the coin production and them the coin develops milkspots that does not represent the grade. it is a shame and indeed RM should do something about this. I stopped buying silver coins until they address this issue. Very dissapointing.
  22. No,wasnt me, but i am interested to read that post if you can find it
