@StevenKI thi yourll find you wouldnt be able to buy uraninium. Its a acontrolled substance and very dangeroius. ]t

Yeah, I was joking about the buying of actual physical uranium. When I saw it mentioned as possible stock I thought there's no way you can buy physical uranium, that's what nukes are made of. I'm no physicist but I'd probably give it a go.

I dont think anyone knows, but I can see it dropping below the 1070 supports - maybe to 1700 or 1720.
Especially as im watching bitcoin soaring to new highs & JP Morgan and other big firms have expressed interest in it.
Flipping Elon Musk & other firms have not helped LOL. He has apparently already surpassed his own companies profits from the recent gains.
Even think Barlays and Master card are thinking about it, don't quote me on that.

What is encouraging is silver is holding and all commodities including uranium are soaring.
I think even if bond yields go up gold will eventually catch up as it follows not necessarily being a commodity or that useful in batteries and tech.
It will have its day, but I am starting to think that this is not the year.
The biggest change I can see is all the robin hood traders, so the markets are more emotional than ever.
The everything bubble will not last long.
people will be kicking themselves they did not buy gold when or if it goes to £3-5000 & a pack of mince now costs £20. ;)

Im waiting and watching & diverting my attention to blockchain stock trading/investing.
Which is possibly a little microcosm of what I have said above. ;)

Who was it on here a few months back that said "its had its peak sell all your physical now"??
Glad I sold about 3oz recently now, wish i had off loaded all of it, if it carries on down over the next month.
Not sure it was such a good idea selling my silver brits though. Oh well I assumed that the squeeze would bring it back to £15/oz.

So, how do I go about purchasing a little nugget of uranium. Just as an investment you understand.

  3. I wish I could remember where I saw it. Possibly Mike Maloney. What they said was there would be a serious dip (£800 per oz) in the the price of gold over a 2 year period and then over the next 20 years it would/could go as high as 5k per oz British. I'll keep looking to see if I can find the source and post it if I do.

  4. Some people have been suggesting gold prices could drop by 50% over the next two years. This raises a problem for novices like me. With very limited funds do I wait for the bubble to burst, with the added risk that the currency will go boobies skyward first or just bite the bullet and buy when I have the available funds. After 1 more purchase I will have 90% of my savings in PM's.

Can someone in the know tell me if there's a way to get around paying the VAT on silver (legally). I found out recently that if you buy over $1500 worth of silver in the US then their version of VAT is voided. Does anything like that exist here in the UK.

Can someone also tell me how to start my own question thread instead of adding to (highjacking) someone elses.

Still a mixed picture - possible short term pullback and then an increase to £19.50 or above? Was toying with trying to get an EU order in before January but not looking attractive right now and the window is closing fast.

£1325 as I type , I can see it going down to £1250 by the end of the week , great buying opportunity I would say .

What is happening with gold prices right now. I started collecting in June because I had managed to save during lockdown and had heard that gold prices were going to soar. I'm buying for the long haul so this dip isn't worrying me at the moment but how long is this likely to last and should I be worried about my investments. I'm 3k in on bullion and proof coins and coin sets.

Doesn't sound great. I've had an email confirmation my 3 are being dispatched this week although they've yet to arrive. Paid by debit card so dont see why a credit check would be needed?

I got mine last week, within 6 days of ordering. Paid with my bank card, but they never took the money until the morning the ingots arrived which I thought was strange.

1g Gold ingots £49 inc delivery.

I won’t be buying this as it’s not my thing but some of you guys might be interested.

Point to note- it states they won’t ship until the first week of July.

Thanks for the link. I just bought the maximum of 3 but just read that they always do credit checks, even when buying outright. As someone who has never had credit in my life I'm likely to fail so I'll have to wait and see.

Be wary of CPM coins. They perform a credit check even if you are not taking out credit with them, and if you are a cash buyer and that check fails they simply cancel your order...despite you paying cash(debit/credit card)!

I just bought 3 of them, but have never had credit on or for anything. That usually leads to failing a credit check if I'm not mistaken.
