  1. Used it once, they were pretty good for the first time I used it, speedy delivery and delivered exactly what they said they were selling. I will use again depending on the price of what I can get items it varies though from dealer to dealer from time to time with who has the best prices.
  2. Does anyone have any of these for sale from a broken up set?
  3. I have a safe, its just full of boxes, it's a great decoy, of course no one is going to tell you where they hide their stack of coins and bullion. Sometimes being overt is the best for being covert. By the time they have ripped up the safe from the floor the amount of tike they have left in the property won't be long, thieves don't like to hang about 5 minutes tops at a stretch and if they go beyond this they are really risking getting caught like the blighter that snuck into my sisters house in HK. He was caught in the act but got away with nothing when he made too much noise and woke everyone up, unless you have the time and know the owner is away and no one at the house and zero security don't hide it at home. As for bank I wouldn't trust them or safety deposit boxes. As is the case in America, this could easily happen here next. FBI basically claimed the company was laundering money, on that basis they used that premise to seize customers boxes then not give the property back unless you can prove your possessions were not from criminal acirivity. my advice, buy some land, dig a basement and build your own safe into it And don't tell anyone about the land you own or what's on and don't tell the construction people what it's for like a preppers fallout shelter.
  4. If they do, I hope they do a lower mintage than 2013 St George/Royal Birth Commemorative. The mintage was quite high and I would have like to have seen it with a lower mintage, but with a 5oz coin with that design would be exceptional.
  5. Yes, 1937 Sovereign for both Edward and George though the Edward sovereigns are extremely rare and not many have sold on the open market. I think a set or single coin recently sold for a small fortune. Now the 2022 Sovereign the jubilee and the memorial sovereigns, while different variation of the Royal coat of arms they are still sovereigns and both dated 2022. Tbh I wasn't going to buy the memorial sovereign, then the Proclamation came through and I couldn't decide if I wanted to then I saw the design leaked a couple of days before and I saw the date with 2022 and I totally decided at that point that I was buying it. I also just bought 4 more coins tonight, 3 silver 2023 Elizabeth britannias and a 1 oz gold 2023 Elizabeth britannia. Now I have 2 monarchs with both 2022 and 2023 dates on them I'm done for buying until the Proof and reverse proof Morgan and Peace Dollars release in the summer.
  6. Is that somewhere between a Matt and a Dave finish? They must be worth a fortune when they get top grade at NGCX.
  7. That was my thinking, Two Queens One coin, plus the Q’dArms Coin.
  8. I do actually own some Australian silver, 1966 50c coins I have a few in UNC condition, maybe could do with sending for grading with conservation. I also have other Australian silver, I’m not a big fan of the Perth Mint, though I prefer to get from the Royal Australian Mint. i graded a couple of Silver 50c pieces, one which got PF70 and I would highly recommend Australian gold or silver for the quality of the metal and finish of the coins, though anything can tarnish or milkspot. i also, unless I cashed it in own or did own a Canadian Maple.
  9. As stated above, as it’s bullion don’t worry, only if it were proof. I bought a 1/2oz Gold Eagle the other month. I was happy with it, then spotted something that almost made me return it, then realised it was bullion and thought again, especially when I realised the issue was a strike through error, so I definitely kept the coin (which I bought also from EMK which is actually based near me in Germany).
  10. I buy silver from the UK, mainly because the quality can be much better than the USA Silver eagles at times (although milk spots and tarnish occurs in some coins) if it’s not a collectible coin like a gothic crown/Una etc then to me the milk spots on Bullion don’t really matter plus it reminds me that at least I bought real silver. However being outside the UK I don’t have to pay VAT and just pay the post, the only thing is the German Zoll might try and slap on a fee for process handling and VAT which I normally stop them mid sentence at the local zoll office, and tell them you can’t have the fee for VAT etc as it’s legal tender and thus exempt from import fees plus vat as I normally import less than £10k per transaction.
  11. If you didn’t get the first one you couldn’t get the second was basically what happened and they were checking my account to see I had bought the first from them directly. I do feel they should have been more open about what happened and at least give a public offering, and yes if you are going to do two coins I would like them both together maybe.
  12. @sgcoinsI just write the people an customs an email and tell them to waive all fees as it’s legal tender so I won’t pay them as the coin is under a certain value. They oblige and the charges get removed.
  13. Managed to order 2022 Half and Full Sovereigns on release day. I used the website but was able to sneak around the queue with a button clicking routine, that had me go backwards and forwards. Then today, well I was on since 7am or 8am for me as I’m in Germany right now. And I ended up 3993 in the queue for the gothic. So I ended up calling the international phone number and got through straight away, no multiple choice hit number for this department. Got my order sorted and was on my merry way, only bought 1 coin as I didn’t want to be greedy and only had enough for a 2oz silver anyway. Though I was speaking to someone who said they set up multiple accounts to be sent to multiple addresses so they could buy up as much as possible which I find really greedy, which is why most people never got anything today, people like that sickened me.
  14. From now on I’m only ever ordering by phone, I made the call at 09:00 precisely. At which point the salesman who sounded really ill with the sniffles just wanted me gone. However I did notice that when he was reading what was available, he said the gold had already gone in a minute of accepting orders, while he was was speaking he said we have the 10oz then all of a sudden he said no wait, that’s now just sold out. I got a 2oz silver and I felt that hanging around for anything else would be pointless, if I were to ask for anything else it probably would have sold out as I was talking the coins were going that quickly. for those wondering how to get through without the wait, use the international phone number, it connects you to the bullion department but you can still buy any coin available. I used this number, no multiple choice, straight to a salesman and made payment. The 0800 number is a trap. Is there any point in getting the other coin? Or do most want both or at least one of the two to say you got one. I will get the other but no more queuing for me online, otherwise I will turn into Gollum, pulling my hair out and yearning for my preciousssssss.
