Now that we seem to have resolved the other issues and have minimal other work in the background, we will try to install the new version of the Prize Draw application. Possibly tomorrow. Therefore there may be incorrect emails/message sent out if it isn't working, we will need to test and see, but I am hoping that it should all work and then we can put up several draws that we were waiting to put up. So if all goes well, hopefully sometime during this weekend we will be adding new Prize Draws 🤞

Shouldn't be any downtime now as the remaining work should all be able to be done in the background. Once again apologies for any inconvenience caused whilst we were working to fix the issues.

Hello Pete, I have moved your topic to the 'Welcome new members' section as it is your first post You are correct in that gold bars attract CGT whereas gold coins (that usually sell less than 1.9x the value of spot) and are UK legal tender currently have no CGT in the UK. Do bare in mind that you have a CGT allowance of around £12,300 per year, so if you are releasing that or less then there is no CGT to pay. e.g. you buy £10k of gold and sell for £22,300, meaning a 'profit' of £12,300, which is your CGT allowance so there wouldn't be any tax to pay on that disposal. You can split sales across multiple years to try to reduce the CGT. Hope this helps

Cancel that. Have checked with our engineer, he had adjusted some settings and suggested to leave the server running to see if it goes down again or if it’s now working fine. So will do that, and if however I notice it does go down again, I will restart the server.
