For the obverse impression Our Effigy with the inscription “· CHARLES III · D · G · REX · F · D · 200 POUNDS ·” and the date of the year,

and for the reverse an effigy of George V with the inscription “GEORGIVS V DEI GRA : BRITT : OMN : REX FID : DEF : IND : IMP :”. The coin shall have a grained edge.

It's either the first big head or the second small head. I don't see them doing a Canadian crowned bust. I just much prefer the big head to be honest. They changed it to remove ghosting on the reverse, which was a pity and didn't fix the problem anyway.

If we do the right thing this time, we might have to do the right thing again next time.

You’re right, it didn’t fix the problem. But it did leave behind some of the rarest sovereigns of George V’s reign.

There are some rare small heads, but most rare George V sovs are big head ones, like 1916c, 1917, 1920s, 1921m, 1923sa.

The rarity of small head Melbourne sovereigns is probably more of a consequence of Melbourne stopping producing them though

Does this mean George V is next? I was hoping they would stick to the schedule as I found Edward VI an interesting one. 
 

That said, maybe they can rearrange it entirely and bring some queens out this year..
