From my understanding, they lock in the price as long as it has been received by a certain given date.

Yes it looks like they have a new online selling checkout process and will lock in the price for two business days 👍

But the downside is splitting the group of coins into 2.5k lots and paying the postage.

@Deanp85 you can lock in the price and they give a window (approx 2 days) to get the coins to them. I called them about this to check.... they'll pay the quoted price except if the coins are damaged or deemed below standard or ex mount in which case it would be a scrap sov and be about £20 to £25 less maybe more if it was heavily damaged or counterfeit.

Sorry all been a busy day. Ive been on Atkinsons website and they do indeed lock in todays price as long as the packages are received before close of business Tuesday.

They've offered me a good price, all i need to do is send them the coins and i get paid. No hassle and the coins are out of my hair and i get paid in 3 days.

Sorry to those who have showed interest after i withdrew the post, maybe next time.

Just as a side note, I still have a beasty 100oz silver bar for sale (perth mint) at £2180 with free SD

Well no ones gonna be buying sovs at mad prices because the price will be back down soon, the runs that stay are steadier. Gold right now is up and down like @stefffanas knickers.

It's normal for them, I've noticed it twice before.
