Recommended Posts

Hey All

I have this coin on my eBay at £1900 but not had any bites, I'm not sure if the price is good, I thought it was looking at comparables but maybe not?

If anyone on here can give me £1500 for the coin I'd take it. Full disclosure I'd make about £100 profit on it, I bought it raw and graded it. It would be nice if it went to someone on here.

If you would like any more pics or info let me know.

£1500 including Royal Mail special delivery. BT please.

Thanks 🙂

That’s a circulation issue- the offering is for a Proof Sovereign.

I stand corrected. Do not know proof price.

Not sure you got this right Sir.

Even Flea-Bay is a third.

Somebody might tell me otherwise.

As the others said above its the Proof 🙂 which I believe only 3764 were minted so it's quite rare. I thought it would have been snapped up but hay ho it's a lesson for me.

The photos on NGC are showing lots of scratches, are they all on the slab?

I've just looked at the NGC pics, the look of the coin makes me think the grader was drunk lol PF61 is a good grade for a coin over 100 years old but those NGC pics make the coin look scruffy, it looks like a different coin! But I'll check when I get back and take more pics!
