@Silverstackeruk

My purchase was through eBay, the last expected date is the 20th of Jan.

I'm a little concerned about the time its taking, but I trust dragon and have confidence it will arrive.

Tbh it's not Dragons fault..I just thinking of worst case scenario that we don't get them...Dragon just message me saying if not arrived in 10 days he will refund me...

Yes I got the same message, I hope they arrive as the delay must be a headache and a pain in the a** for him.

Mine is reporting as in uk so it will probably be in the office when I get there in a couple of days. Question is why is Royal Mail deprioritising China Post?

Finally arrived today but I'd appreciate some advice on what to do.

I've noticed a couple of marks. The one on the pandas face is just some fluff or something on the inside of the plastic.

It's the scratch in the sky that's bothering me as I was hoping to get it graded.

If you're going to get it graded then it won't matter if you take it out of the plastic to check. I would contact Dragon and send him these pictures and see what he says. If he agrees, I would then cut it out and have a look, if Ok you can then send it off for grading.

It seems that Shanghai Mint uses a different antique process than Shenyang or Nanjing. The finish they use is not as flattering in my opinion.

Numi,

in your experience in dealing with the medals, have you found that they have the same problems as bullion coins, i.e. Milk spotting or tarnish spots.  I'm tempted to pick up a few so I am just curious as the majority of the medals you have show cased look really good and there has been no mention of it.

The only milk spotting I have personally experienced was on a 2oz proof Libertad but some Medals must have similar issues. It's not endemic but entirely possible that some medals will suffer.

My expo medals that arrived within a week were in perfect condition. I posted the photos in the “today thread”. They were then sent for grading.

I am still waiting on a medal that’s been in transit for almost four weeks. Could the damage have occurred to the recent deliveries due to the time spent in transit?
