NOW SOLD

I am trying to diversify my stack away from sets and proofs to bullion gold and silver coins.

These are rare medals and you can find more details about them on Lawrence Chard site

President Kennedy Memorial Medal From 1965 approx 8.20g of 18ct £320 +Postage

Great Fire and Blitz Medal From 1966 approx 8.34g and 8.21g of 18ct £650 +Postage

Battle of Britain Medal From 1965 approx 18.03g of 18ct £670 +Postage

Would prefer cash on Pickup from North London or Hastings, Bank Transfer or exchange for Government issued silver coins at £21 per oz

If there is no interest in these medals by Friday, then they will be going to Hatton Garden at the weekend as there is only about £40 difference as I'm selling at almost scrap price.

These are now sold to a dealer in Hatton Garden. Shame really as they will be melted.

Managed to work a deal for £1000 and 23 1oz Britannia. 3 were from 1998, Rest were from 2021 and 2022 and 1 was a 2019 year of the Pig.

I think I managed to get a good deal.

So roughly £1600? If each Britannia equated to a rough conservative average of £26, with special years netting more.

If silver goes up, the Brits can fetch more, and you have the most liquid silver coin, I'd be pretty happy with that, if it was me.

I am very happy, thanks. I always said that I was offering them at spot but was more interested in a trade. I only put them up in case someone liked them.

Glad you git a price you were happy with, I think a potential problem you may have had trade wise was under valuation of "buyer's silver" at £21 per ounce, trade value. But glad it worked out!

I'd have had the RAF if funds had allowed lovely thing.

That was my favourite too. I asked the dealer what he would do with it and the reply was, being it is 18ct will probably become gold in a wedding ring.
