closed Platinum wanted to melt

That's ambitious.  Platinum has a really high melting point (1768C vs 1064C for gold).

Cookson gold has Platinum casting grain here

The Sovereign is the quintessentially British coin.  It has a German queen on the front, an Italian waiter on the back, and half of them were made in Australia.

I’m looking for platinum to melt. My mrs makes jewellery and fancies a go with some.  After 1/2 ounce ish.

Think @ArgentSmith has a 1oz QB up currently at £980.. probably your cheapest option. ( I'm not saying his coin should be melted, but if needs must)

The smaller denominations will come with a superior premium unfortunately 😔
