Baird postage costs

I was comparing the price difference between Tavex and Baird recently and was shocked to see that Baird are charging £11 postage to post  a 1/4oz gold Britannia which just seems like a lot to me? Tavex are asking £5

Yeah baird are a good company, but can be tediously slow and their delivery charge isn't great, the more you order the higher it gets ( I mean substantially higher)

I like to buy the pre-dip dip

Don't feel bad, they charge £11 postage for a couple of 1oz silver bullion coins too.

They were the only place my son could find the coins he wanted though, so I cried a bit & paid the postage which had the bonus of making Chards suddenly seem far more reasonable.
