1895 Victoria old head Melbourne sovereign with “M” mint mark .

I sent this coin for grading not because I hoped for a high grade but because Michael Marsh says in his book that “ in 1895 no sovereign were minted in Melbourne or if the were they were dated 1894 “ 

hence I sent this coin for grading to see if he was right or wrong , but he was wrong .

There are 1895 Melbourne sovereigns and here is one of them , an opportunity for someone to grab a unique historic  coin at a price slightly above spot .

price is £390 posted Uk special delivery.
