A little trouble with Google Authenticator

Hi,

 

I have Google Authenticator installed and set up on my phone. However, when prompted by TSF to input the code, I get an error saying it's the "wrong code for this community".

Is there a TSF QR code or registration key that I need so that Google Authenticator knows that it's TSF-related?

Sorry, I'm a bit dazeed and confused by trying and failing.

I tried that originally, but alas no joy. To access that part of my account I need to 're-authenticate', which necessitates the Google Authenticator, which I can't find the right code for.  😵

You can reset your authenticator by clicking here (please see screenshots below) and then resetting it by email.

You can then set it up again (will give you a new QR code) just remember to first delete the old one.

I was originally getting only two options to verify: Authenticator, or 'log in on a device already registered', which was no good. Anyway, I did the old, trusted reboot and followed your advice form there and all now seems well.

With the Google authentication...Do either-or both.... Have have second device with your codes imported onto it.....and keep it  current, ie if you add any new accounts import to the second device a.s.a.p

The other way is to note the original key code.. and add to device if things go belly up...

Or Go with another provider like Authy who are able to reinstate accounts.
