Pocket Watches

Recommended Posts

Hi

Just enquiring if there is anyone out there, that is knowledgeable about 19th and 20th century pocket watches.!

A very close relative of mine has recently passed away, and I’ve inherited a huge quantity of them..just looking to find out more about them really…to show some respect for the lovely gent that has bequeathed them to me.

This is just a small fraction of them…

I have found some paperwork with them, and it would appear that they have all been repaired (but i don’t know by who).
There are also notes on different movement types, keys etc!…I think I will try and get a book on the subject, and have a good long read..just to learn the basics.

I might Google a few of the names over time, as time allows, but there are literally hundreds to go through!
