Austrian Mint

Does anyone have any experience, good or bad, of ordering direct from the Austrian mint, especially since we left the EU. In particular, I'm interested in using a debit card with its attendant mark up and the difficulties, if any, with customs, VAT and delivery. Thanks in advance for any insights.

Hmmm, no replies. Does this mean that there are better ways of acquiring Austrian bullion coins? No UK dealer seems to have any in stock. Are the restrikes of limited interest to UK buyers?

wowsers. My first coin was a gold ounce 2018 philharmonic and I'd straight swap it for a completer in a second. I didn't realize it was worth more.

Yes, I did see those for sale. I'm interested in ducat and corona restrikes. But the ones on sale would be coming from Greece, hence my original question about VAT and customs for stuff coming from the EU. 

Surely somebody has imported something from the EU since we left!

i bought gold coins off sv in april and paid no vat or customs

but postage is £27 so you need to factor that in

you might have to from other dealers - it depends what they write on the parcel
