Coin Indentification

Hello,

I could do with your expert assistance please to identify a couple of coins.

I believe I know 3 of them but there's a question over the other 2.

Looking at the coins from left to right I have......

?, half penny, penny, 3 pence and ?

They look like they have had a hard life, so very much doubt there is any monetary value in them, I just like them due to their age.

If only old coins could talk!

Thank you for your help on this.

Ben

I love old coins too, even if they have no value, but just for their history. 😀

Yep - it is a farthing. If you take the Penny and the Farthing, you can make an old Victorian Bicycle - the Penny Farthing! (please excuse my awful photoshop attempt).

Haha thank you for that. I've never actually thought about why they call the bike a penny farthing before, but thanks to your lovely picture I know realise why 🤦‍♂️

Something else I've learnt today.

Left looks like a Farthing.

Right looks like a Jubilee Head 1887 Shilling

Yes, agree with you.
