I have mentioned Royal Mint misinformation and propaganda previously, in various "topics", plus on our websites, and Flickr.

I found the latest example only today:

I've got a few of these so maybe time to start unloading some and certainly not just storing them loose with the other dates.

Interestingly I also saw this advert last week in Decembers issue of GQ (Gentleman’s Quarterly) Magazine.

I too was surprised at the price they were charging for a 1914 (correction: half sovereign.)
