Hi daca. My fault i wasn't precise enough in my questioning.  I wasn't tryin to circumvent the trading rules and regulations here. I was wanting to know if someone had any that they liked and if they thought the ID was a gimmick or security risk.

I just saw some troubling things regarding Mint ID products.

First, the Android app has terrible reviews. People are saying that it simply doesn't work – it won't scan the NFC chip in the bars and rounds. This is important because the app is a critical piece of the Mint ID feature – if the app doesn't work, Mint ID is pointless. Second, the NFC chip peels off. This is unbelievable. It means that anyone can just peel off the chip, attach it to a fake silver bar or round, and sell it as a real Mint ID product... That's incredible, a gaping huge design flaw. I had assumed that the NFC chip was embedded inside the bar/round, so that it couldn't be tampered with without destroying or melting the silver. That's the only way the feature would make sense. If you can just peel off the chip, it's pointless. Link:

Given that the app doesn't work, and that you can just peel off the chip, Mint ID is worthless. It's very strange that they would go through the trouble of launching this product in this state.

WOW, thanks for the major heads up!
