What percent of your wealth is in precious metals?. When I say wealth I think you can include estimated value of assets like currency, property, stocks etc.

I am sitting at around 11 percent and contemplating if I should go higher or lower, so curious to see everyone else's thinking.

I left responses public as I thought it would be interesting to see each persons confidence in precious metals but let me know if I should change.

accumulate up to as much gold(pm's) as your understanding allows - belangp youtube.

stay flexible and make changes to balance you holdings if and when it's required.

it's like waist size. each number is unique to everyone and changes with time.

It changes for me. This year for example, I have increased my allocation to pm's in light of the incoming global financial difficulties I see on the horizon. If the markets don't react as I expect then next year I may trade some pm's in to increase my allocation in equities.

But currently I am 50% pm's. Normally this would be closer to 25%.
