Sovereign novice here.

So I see (I think) that the rim at the bottom is thicker than the top. So the whole design is shifted, for want of a better term, north?

Is there anything else interesting that I'm missing?

There seems to be some discolouration on the right hand side.

It doesn't seem to be rare:

I don't know how many more are like that.

It's not just that (unless it's a photo artifact) - the matte finish seems to have quite a few spots missing (more than usual for these issues).

Doug, our photographer is working on more.

He stopped work on the above one because he thought it was so bad.

It looks as if its been through the wars!

Some of it may be due to lighting and reflections. I haven't seen the actual coins yet, or had a chance to discuss the photos with Doug, who added an edit to this:
