Numismatic coin box ?

After putting numismatic Coin in Slab should you keep/take good care of the generic box?
I mean Yes it's obvious keep it if you can but does it matter really? especially if the box is generic let's say The royal mint's wooden box....for silver/gold proof coins.

IMHO- YES!  - a lot of collectors like to have those with - if they purchase

Give it 5 years and I bet the grading companies will have a side line in slabbing the 'collectable box' as well 😂

I prefer raw coins. I like that you need to research and acquire some knowledge rather than reading a label. Also bluergh to white cheap plastic.

Definitely keep the original box, it'll increase your potential buyers if you want to sell in the future.

There's a collector for everything. Some original SNES games can fetch hundreds if not thousands!

Definitely keep everything pristine! It's all worth money and broadens the market (to some extent) when you sell! The original capsules alone are easy £5-10 for numismatic coins, and that's modern ones.
