I just absolutely KNEW it!

The very moment I clapped eyes on a photo that @5huggy posted recently in another thread of his 1/4 ounce Queens Beasts collection last week, I knew that this was going to happen!  

And just to ensure that my fate was well and truly sealed, 5huggy's gold coins were looking particularly resplendent in one of @Alun's bespoke display boxes! I never stood a chance really, did I?

Since last Friday at CoinEx in London (where I stumbled across a VERY attractively priced bullion quarter ounce gold Yale, that was to set me upon this particular path), matters have progressed swiftly, to the point where I am now also the proud owner of a 2016 Lion and a Falcon.

Never mind that I have had to mortgage the dog, sell the wife into slavery, and will be living on a diet of cardboard for the rest of the month in order to fund my latest addiction, I am very happy with my new acquisitions - and that's all that matters right now

I felt that I did quite well there - I got sufficient to cover all the P&P costs of the QB Lion

the only issue is will you pay that premium for proof

This is sounding as though a Class A drug habit might work out to be a cheaper alternative
