Loose Proof Sovs

Hi all,

Recently HGM have been selling loose Proof Sovs.  This means Sovs that come in flips

I am not really a buyer of modern Sovs.... Are Sovs really supplied from the RM in flips - HGM have had quite a few over then last few months.

Bullion Sovs are sold in flips from RM

Proofs are either boxed or in sets and in a screw capsule.
These coins have been bought as bullion by HGM who don't pay any extra.
I know this from my own experience as I dumped a load with them not so long ago.

Loose proof sovereigns just in flips or capsules are sovereigns that come from sets that have been broken up, hence no box or COA.

Thanks all.  I was surprised to see 12 Proofs in flips for sale a few weeks ago - lots of sets broken up!

I've recently had a couple of proof half Sovereigns off of @arshimo2012 - very good they were too, and both came in RM type screw capsules
