out of interest if you was going to buy an ounce of gold or there abouts . would you order a Britannia 1oz or say 4 sovereigns for just under the ounce . would the sovs be easier to sell or hold more value or dosnt it matter come selling time .    

 

Me personally I would buy the 4 sovereigns. Try and get the older ones rather than the modern sovereigns, unless of course you want them very shiny.

 

IMHO they will be easier to dispose of later on rather than having to sell the full 1oz.

I will be the defender of the 1 oz. :)

Sovereigns are tiny...disappointingly so.....don't even think about a half.

I dislike mine so much, they will probably go next year.

 

That being said, if you don't have the discipline to save up for a full oz and need to scratch the itch.........what the hell, buy a sovereign :) !

Currently stacking 1/4 oz (22ct) and Sovs.

I do this Bob and save enough for 1oz of gold, then when it comes to firing the trigger and buying it, My mind flips and thinks i can buy so much more silver than i can gold with this £800.....aaarrrggghhhhhh !! :unsure:
