Picked up my kilogram Metalor bar from Helping Hands today.
With a Brucie bonus of three coins I've not seen before.
I might give it a good polish.

A belated post here. Two of Danny Boy's sovereigns found there way to me. A 1901 and a 1904.
I think the current gold silver ratio may have something to do with the sovereign sales.

The mystery prize that Mic83 received from me was a Rwandan Impala coin with a Brucie bonus of
a 1/4 oz Victor Hugo coin. Had to mention it as it would have remained a mystery else.

I was tempted by this one from Atkinsons.

Picked up my five value sovereigns from HGM today.
Four them were 2016. The other one was 2015.

Got my two sovereigns from Bairds today and the Victorian one turned out to be an 1878 Melbourne. Nice!

Two sovereigns from Highland Tiger. One of which was a very nice 1873 Melbourne sovereign.
No more sending coins in envelopes though!

And gold has dpne well to stay above $2k. It would appear that we are still on an uptrend and dangerous to be short.
I  had expected more downside than what we just had.

I agree. There's another consideration too that may provide a nice buying opportunity:-
Sentiment amongst the largest hedge fund managers is as negative as it's been at any time this year, despite the S&P being near it's ATH. The majority are predicting recession and historically that has led to a temporary dip in PM prices, thereafter they roar back and smash their previous ATHs. The majority (~33%) are predicting the Fed pivots in Q1 2024 and ~14% are predicting the pivot in Q3/Q4 of 2023.
Our last buying opportunity at lower prices is likely to be in the window after May 3rd until the Fed starts to cut. If PMs hold, or even go up in May after the Fed hikes and a recession is officially declared, wow, $2,000 may start to look cheap real fast. Most likely we will see a dip in the next few weeks, some big gold players are predicting a dip in the last week of April. Diamond hands and BTD

The capsules do this to the coins if you're not careful. I messed up all my gold Brits this way. I should have made sure they couldn't move about when I was transporting them.

I would guess so. They couldn't let it pass the Thursday 6th of April 2020 all time high of $2050 because that would ring too many alarm bells with Joe public about the banking troubles which are still ongoing.
