  1. All still on sale. Maybe the Royal Mint has overdone it this week.
  2. The Who Limited Edition Print £95 - is this the Royal Mint's equivalent of paper silver??? https://www.royalmint.com/our-coins/events/music-legends/the-who/limited-edition-print/
  3. Do you have a reference for this?
  4. Yes, it came out in April with the release of the first Completer coins: https://www.royalmint.com/our-coins/ranges/queens-beasts/the-completer-coin/2021-ten-ounce-silver-proof-coin/
  5. I suppose the Royal Mint could produce fewer coins/varieties, but in larger quantities, and then properly advertise them in order to stimulate collector interest. Yes, this would upset the flippers but would it not be better for the future of the hobby? I reckon we must have had a record number of coins released yesterday: 10 gold proof quarter ounce coins 10 silver proof 1oz coins 10 silver proof quarter ounce coins The 2oz proof silver Completer, and The Five-Sovereign Matt BU piece. which total to 32 new precious metal coins (did I miss any?). Is this a world record for the number of coins released on one day???
  6. I forgot to check the RM websited this morning to see whether any new Beasts were released!
  7. I suppose this is an alternative version - based on the One Pound coin of 2015. I think I would prefer the 1983 coat of arms.
  8. The obvious coat of arms to use would be the one that we saw on the 1983 Pound coin - with the words "ONE POUND" replaced with "2022"
  9. The 2oz silver proof Completer coin was also released this morning. https://www.royalmint.com/our-coins/ranges/queens-beasts/the-completer-coin/2021-uk-two-ounce-silver-proof-coin/
  10. I think there is the danger that the release of the 2oz silver proof Completer wil hit the demand for / price of the 1oz silver proof version.
  11. No, I did not know they were being released today (quite often the RM does not tell people when they are issuing things - I know this sounds crazy). But Monday is a popular day for new releases.
  12. It is just a matter of looking at the RM website from 8.45am onwards and seeing if there is a queue. Then waiting... to see what is released! I was not aware of the 2oz silver proof Completer until about 9.15am despite being on the website at 9am.
  13. I've now found it on the RM website: https://www.royalmint.com/sovereign/2021/five-sovereign-piece-2021-gold-brilliant-uncirculated-coin/ Mintage: 350
  14. The real thanks should go to @motorbikez who first spotted it.
  15. Well, it has been a busy morning for the Royal Mint! The annual BU Five Sovereign piece was also launched this morning according to CC but I can't find it on the RM website!
  16. This is the link, but it says that all are sold: https://www.royalmint.com/our-coins/ranges/queens-beasts/the-completer-coin/2021-uk-two-ounce-silver-proof-coin/
  17. I think I have just bought a 2oz silver proof Completer for £180 from the Royal Mint!
  18. It is a re-hash of the whole Queen's Beast series with all now dated 2021.
  19. I'm baffled! I was taken to the "Completer" page but I could not see anything new!
  20. Coin Connection had a 10oz silver proof, but now sold out. I have not seen this on sale elsewhere. https://www.thecoinconnection.co.uk/product/hrh-prince-philip-duke-of-edinburgh-2021-10-10oz-silver-proof-and-coa/ And a 2oz gold proof (still available): https://www.thecoinconnection.co.uk/product/hrh-prince-philip-duke-of-edinburgh-2021-uk-two-ounce-gold-proof-coin/
  21. Everything is still in stock at the moment - so you might be ok.
