Received a 3D so tiny ,not cost effective but a bit of fun.

Tiny is an understatement on those - almost weightless.  And, judging by my 3d not being where I thought it was, somewhat easier to lose than a 1oz'er...

I know the guys who owned gold/co/uk 

They must have hit an impressive pay day with that sale?

Decided to make my gold:silver ratio a bit more sensible, or even existant - went for an 1895 and 1897 half sovereign.  I think I paid a pretty fair amount for them - about a fiver more per coin for the older date?

Got this today - paid above spot but well below retail; hoping for a quick flip so that I can buy some Noah's Arks (it may well turn up in the For Sale section in an hour or two!).  .999 silver (12g per coin) Anniversary of the Guinea eight coin set.

PROOF - 2015 GHANA "Lunar Skulls" YEAR OF THE GOAT 1oz Silver High Relief Coin

 

I just picked up two of the proof version. I love that fact that each individual coin

is engraved with a unique serial number (to match the COA). I have not come across that feature before. And the fact that it is a high relief coin and low mintage...hits all of my buying criteria...well worth the extra $20 to buy the proof version ($89 US) in my mind , with a mintage of 500 as compared to 2000 for the BU version...I am sure that this series is going to be successful- as with both lunar and skull features I don't think they can go wrong. I just hope that they don't get too greedy if initially successful, and increase the mintage numbers of subsequent years, but even if that does happen then likely the first of the series will be the one to have . That said , I imagine that the tattoo artist who designed the coin could come up with a pretty wicked monkey skull design for 2016!

Have you got a link for the proof version, please?  I can only find the 2000 mintage coin.

I also see they have a Customs charge promise -
