1911-C Sovereign

Received 3 HGM half sovereigns today. All bullion grade - Victoria veiled head 1897, George V 1911, George V 1914.
 
That makes 6 in total now. I used to think half sovereigns were too small but they have grown on me. The other three I have all Edward VII (1906/7/9) so its nice to get some additional variety to look at!

Bought a 1 gram gold bar. 2 American silver eagles and a 2015 Noah's ark.

My goal is to have the equivalent of a half sov to cash in each month for 20 years and a couple of oz of silver a week. If that gives me circa £200 a month that the government doesn't know about then that's fine by me

Good goal to aim for. I'm only at 2 1/4 oz of gold but it's only since joining this forum that I bothered about gold. I did have an original goal of 200 ounces of silver but I'm at 300 ounces now. I've got another 23 years to go before retiring, unless I cash in earlier if the prices go to the moon:-)

1/2 Pahlavi coin and a 2003 half sov. Hit 4oz of gold with these. It's not much, but at least it's a buffer should everything go pear shaped. The goal is to have 27oz at retirement..got 20 years to go, should do it.

Recent order from STG I decided to see what various coins really looked and felt like.
 
Lovely Liberted, really like that.
The US Eagle is substantial,
I don't like the red-tailed Hawk from Canada, but love the chunky overwieght Bison.
Both the Koala and Kookaburra are real quality.
Elephant is meh, I guess I dislike coins with a full shiny face.

Surprise in the post today as it came much earlier than expected. My New Zealand 2015 currency proof set with a 1oz silver proof Anzac coin, which there are only 10,000 available but only 1000 of these sets.
Not sure which is classed as the rarest coin in this set as the 1oz silver proof is the larger version of the standard coloured cupro-nickel coin of which there were 1 million made, but this set has a non-coloured cupro-nickel Anzac coin which is only available in this years set.

My 1oz Pamp Romanesque cross silver bar arrived from Atkinsons. One of five different faith bars in the series. A bit pricey from Atkinsons so if I decide to get any more, I'll be looking elsewhere.

Today I received a 2001 1oz single Proof Kookaburra.
