Presumably this is sterling silver? Sterling oxidizes with the air when poured so you have to clean and polish it before it's shiny. 999 silver you don't need a flux or borax just pour and go!

I have reached out to the mint a number of times to get some clarity on things like their coin prices for just basic old coins and have heard nothing. I am up to 9 parts on my "Royally screwed" series on YouTube where I show horrible coins at horrible prices. They just don't care.

They honestly don't know or want to know. It's a real shame. More and more every week I feel disconnected and disappointed with the Royal Mint. Considering I have been a weathered champion defending the good things they have done in the past I am getting to the point of just not caring any more. Speaks volumes about our national mint

I think I typed this wrong. What I meant to say was that it would be payable only after the claim has been decided. I would refund from my own pocket even if it was not paid out. The difference is the time before payment.

I will always refund only when the claim is successful on private sales. *Edit I typed this in a weird way. What I mean is that I would still refund if it was declined but I would only pay after the decision was made. Any business ones I refund immediately and then trust in the claim being settled. If it's not then it's part of doing business and a loss.

Common courtesy goes a long way on this forum.

Let's not forget also that the optics that buyers have of sellers on this forum counts for an awful lot. Hence why some sellers have no problems selling and others are just here to bump every day.
