If you are really serious get a paid membership.
There are 2 big advantages to that:
You will see items on the selling section of the forum straightaway - click to get notifications for the UK thread - so you will get emails when something new appears. There is good value there. Buy from the longer term members who have a good trading record. Don't mess around on ebay - too many scammers.
You will also be able to see more of the forum - like the non PM discussion threads. Some threads like the ones i am on are full of good information - some other threads i do not recommend but i am sure you will come of across it.

Welcome back for your second attempt at taming the forum! it can be a whily beastie.
I'm sure you'll be able to find your feet. lots of help available if you ask for it.
If used right, you can really increase your collecting/stack efficiency. Lots of precious metals available at prices better then the dealers if you are savvy enough to spot a decent deal from a trust worthy seller.
Have a good mooch around the threads and see what takes your fancy!
